I wrote 20,000 letters
According to the Library of Congress, I wrote 20,000 letters and another 5,000 documents throughout my life. Because there is so much firsthand material available, you do not need to rely on the interpretations of the current Monticello management or other biased historians who try to change my legacy for their own selfish narratives and personal gain.
That is why ThomasJefferson.com publishes at least one of my letters every single day. They do not have advertisements or anything to sell. They are supported entirely by their love for America, and thus for me. Imagine what you can learn in one year. Read my actual letters to know the real me and truly understand history.
Please let your family members and friends know. Thank you.
For example, I entirely banned modern summary textbooks in favor of original sources, arguing that students must read history directly from the people who lived it. I wrote about that in today's letter: https://www.thomasjefferson.com/jefferson-letters/october-25
