Monticello ... Florida

Monticello, Florida, located in Jefferson County, is home to a statue of Thomas Jefferson standing outside its courthouse since 2025, making Florida the only state to honor Jefferson with a statue during our nation’s 250th birthday celebration.

With Virginia shifting away from its traditional roots, Florida stands as one of the last true bastions of republicanism in America.
